The Mayor, the City of Tempe, and the notMYkid team all recognize how challenging 2020 is in terms of youth mental health, and we’re coming together to provide you with knowledge, tools, and resources to help keep your loved ones healthy and safe. This town hall is ideal for parents, guardians, grandparents, educators, and anyone else who works or interacts with youth.
Topics will include signs and symptoms of someone struggling with a mental health challenge, how to help someone dealing with mental health challenges, and what resources are available to support you and your family during difficult times. The information provided has the potential to help you save lives. We will also be answering your questions related to youth mental and behavioral health to ensure you feel equipped to handle whatever lies ahead.
