Ahriza Martinez joined notMYkid in 2014 because she wanted to be a part an organization that positively impacted the lives of many people. As the Chief Operating Officer, she works behind the scenes to promote the essence of notMYkid across various platforms. She also manages notMYkid’s Family Navigator and Peer Support AmeriCorps program that supports building healthy futures of youth and families by partnering with schools and organizations to strengthen Maricopa County’s communities. She has a B.A. from Ashford University and before coming to notMYkid, Ahriza worked in several school settings for more than 10 years as a tutor, Teaching Assistant, and Administrative Assistant. Ahriza loves to volunteer, spending time with family and friends, and being a foodie explorer.
