Also on the panel with Joronda was licensed clinical social worker Michael Klinkner and Katey McPherson, an expert in parenting, youth mental health, and social-emotional growth for adolescents. ABC 15’s Megan Thompson hosted and moderated the panel, which fielded a series of questions asked by viewers. Questions revolved around how parents can best help their kids during a time of uncertainty and increased anxiety over a “back to school” season that looks unlike any other before it.
