Many employers offer to match their employees’ charitable contributions. Many companies will match employees donations at a 1:1 ratio up to a specified amount. Some companies offer as much as a 4:1 matching ratio which is of no cost to the employee and can tremendously help nonprofit organizations, such as notMYkid, to reach their financial goals each year.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY COMPANY WILL MATCH MY CONTRIBUTION?
1. Contact your Human Resources Department and learn about what they offer and if they have specific organizations they partner with as well as what their gift limits are.
2. Make your donation, being sure to follow your company guidelines.
3. Provide your company with a receipt or proof of your contribution and any other forms they require.
4. Confirm the match was made and notify notMYkid.
