Sarah Grado has been working in prevention since 2009 and has been employed with notMYkid for over 12 years. Sarah now leads all sustainability efforts for the organization and is responsible for the administration of over 1 million in funding of prevention and early intervention programs across the State of Arizona. With partners all over the state, Sarah ensures that our connections to coalitions and other community groups get the support and services needed to build strong prevention communities with notMYkid’s help.
Sarah is an international speaker who shares her inspirational story to youth, parents and professionals. Sarah oversees facilitator training and program development to ensure the highest quality in program delivery. Sarah is active with several coalitions around the state including the Tempe Coalition Executive Committee and Arizona Suicide Prevention Coalition, Mesa Prevention Alliance, Scottsdale Youth and Community Coalition, and Collective Step for Youth. Over the years, Sarah has facilitated over 500 presentations reaching over 20,000 youth and adults.
