Sarah Grado has been working in prevention since 2009 and has been employed with notMYkid for over 12 years. As the Chief Operating Officer, Sarah oversees day-to-day operations and provides leadership, management, and vision for sustainable growth. She is responsible for the administration of over 1 million in funding of prevention and early intervention programs across the State of Arizona. With partners all over the state, Sarah ensures that our connections to coalitions and other community groups get the support and services needed to build strong communities with notMYkid’s help.
Sarah is an international speaker who shares her inspirational story to youth, parents and professionals. Over the years, Sarah has facilitated over 500 presentations reaching over 75,000 youth and adults. She leads notMYkid’s Youth Mental Health Collective, a fast-growing group of providers, schools, and healthcare professionals that connects families to resources and services. Sarah is an alumni member ASU Lodestar Leadership Academy 2014-2015 class and holds certifications in Adolescent Brain Development, Trauma-Informed Care, and Adverse Childhood Experiences. In 2020, Sarah received notMYkid’s employee of the year award in recognition for outstanding achievement.
Sarah lives in Florence with her husband and four wonderful boys. In her free time, Sarah enjoys playing board games, working out, and having lazy pool days with her family.
