Michelle has been working in the recovery community for over ten years after finding her own recovery on March 27, 2007. Michelle is the owner of Scottsdale Recovery Center with over 20 years’ experience in the accounting field.
Michelle received her Bachelor’s in Accounting in 1995 from Arizona State University and worked as a Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen for many years. Michelle is on the Executive Board of the Arizona Recovery Housing Association, is actively involved in the Art of Recovery and works one-on-one with women in the recovery community. Over the last four years, Michelle has worked tirelessly on the sober living legislative efforts with Jeff Taylor, Senator Barto and Senator Brophy Mcgee. Michelle is in long-term recovery and is passionate about helping individuals struggling with alcohol and drug addiction and educating the community. She is a firm believer in paying it forward so that all who have a sincere desire can recover.
