Maddy Rose retuned to notMYkid in 2022 as the System Change Specialist, following a one-year hiatus to pursue her education at the University of Arizona. Maddy has over six years of diverse experience in the social services field, and she is currently in her last year of her Master of Social Work Program with a focus in Public Health and Adolescent Substance Misuse Prevention. Her career began through providing Intensive Case Management services to refugees who are survivors of torture. She then joined the notMYkid team as a Prevention Specialist and later as the Rx Program Coordinator managing activities related to adolescent opioid prevention in Mesa and Scottsdale. She departed from notMYkid for one year to work at a program evaluation firm with focus in evaluating the effectiveness of adolescent programs and criminal justice programs provided by nonprofits and governmental agencies. While working at notMYkid, Maddy is also completing her second year Social Work internship in Pima County Jail serving adults with co-occurring substance use disorder and mental illness to reduce recidivism rates among this population.

In her free time Maddy enjoys spending time with her cats, traveling to see her niece and nephew, exercising, and spending time with friends.
