Maddy began her career in the field of human services in 2013 as a Recreation Aid for children with visual impairments which sparked her passion for helping youth. In 2016, she began a position as an Intensive Case Manager serving individuals with significant trauma and PTSD. Through this position she gained experience in comprehensive case management services including: employment assistance, psychosocial wellbeing, and medical case management. She graduated with her BA in Liberal Studies from ASU with a focus in Health Education and Social Behavioral Sciences in 2019. Maddy joined the prevention team at notMYkid on a full-time basis in 2019 where she utilizes her knowledge, experience, and training to educate youth and families on all notMYkid topics. She also serves as a member of the Scottsdale Coalition and is the Vice Chair of the Mesa Prevention Alliance. Maddy is currently pursuing her Master’s of Social Work at Arizona State University.
