Koren has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Koren completed all her licensure hours as a trauma therapist with a significant focus on family therapy to help families understand the impact of trauma while also being able to heal from it. Koren has brought her rich history of individual, family, and group therapy and program development/enhancement to continue to help notMYkid’s behavioral health services grow and touch more adolescents and young adults’ lives. Her passion for this work comes from her devotion and dedication to help children and families heal from trauma and addiction. Mirroring her passion for helping others is her passion for her family. Koren has a blended family of six kids ranging from the age of eleven and to her oldest being 22! A large family keeps her and her husband Josh on the move with plenty of weekend activities, sporting events, and school functions.
