Kimberly joined notMYkid’s [i]nspired Peer Program as a Peer Support Specialist in 2022. Kimberly has experience as a case manager working with adults re-entering the community from prison as well as substance use/misuse. In high school, she took many different electives such as medical, early childhood education and psychology. Kimberly’s heart has always been set on “being the person you needed when you were younger”. Kimberly has a strong passion to change the world, even if it’s only by planting seeds in those she meets. She is the oldest of a combined family of seven and enjoys family time. She is a dog mom to a beautiful husky, Bibi. Kimberly takes interest in crafts, the outdoors, music, and of course interaction with others. Two of Kimberly’s favorite quotes are, “only time will tell,” and “you’re always one decision away from a totally different life.”
