Breanna Guzman is our newest Program Coordinator to join the notMYkid team. She will lead our prevention efforts in the East Valley, funded by the Governor’s Office of Youth, Faith, and Family- Trauma-informed Substance Abuse Primary Prevention Program (TISAPP). Breanna has a B.S. in Public Health from Northern Arizona University and a Minor in Spanish. She is passionate about providing accessible and affordable resources to the Latinx community and other vulnerable populations. She believes that everyone should be provided with the necessary tools to build resilience, maintain good health, and express themselves freely and safely. Breanna has over 5 years of experience working with youth, from guiding high school students down the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon to facilitating STEM activities in tribal elementary schools, she has learned that there is a great need for more trauma-informed educational programs. In her free time, she enjoys taking her dog on adventures, reading, yarn crafts, and spending time with family.
